Oregon defeats Oklahoma

Oklahoma can't finish the rally and that wraps up Day 3 at the WCWS with Oregon defeating Oklahoma 4-2. Oklahoma is eliminated from the WCWS and ends the season with a 51-13 record. Oregon advances to Day 4 of the WCWS and the final four to face Alabama. First game tomorrow is scheduled for Noon CST between Florida and Baylor.

Pitching Changes

Oregon relieves the inning with Hovinga and gets two outs then re-neters Hawkins.

Top of the 7th

Oregon manages to add an insurance run after a shallow hit to right field by Takeda that scored Udria from second. Oregon leads 4-2 heading to the bottom of the seventh and the last chance for Oklahoma.

End of the  6th inning in OKC. Oregon still leads Oklahoma 3-2.

OU/UO Update

Oklahoma takes a step closer adding another run with a Pendley homerun over the right field wall. 3-2 Oregon still leading going into the 6th inning.
