WORTH WATCHING

PERFORMANCES OF THE WEEK
  • Kendall McKinney, UNC-Greensboro - The Spartans' junior outfielder gathered three hits this weekend, and every one of them saw her round the bases and a fan grab a souvenir. The trio of roundtrippers saw her season's total double 100% in size.
  • Darian Tautalafua, Long Beach State - En route to the record-breaking performance noted above, Tautalafua had herself quite a day on Sunday. The senior infielder took the UC Davis pitching to school, reaching base safely in five out of seven at-bats. Every hit she gathered in the doubleheader went for extra bases; four of them went over the outfield wall. She ended the full weekend with a stat line of .556/4/7, bringing in an extra one on a sac fly on Saturday's series-opener.
